1. Agreement to these terms
By creating an account, submitting a prayer, or otherwise using PrayerWall, you agree to these Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, and the Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or submit personal information. If you are under 18, you may use PrayerWall only with permission from a parent or guardian. Church administrators are responsible for deciding who may join their church wall and for providing appropriate supervision within their community.
3. Accounts and church access
- Provide accurate account information and protect your password.
- Use only your own account and notify us if you believe it has been compromised.
- Membership in a church wall is controlled by that church’s administrators.
- Do not create or claim a church wall unless you are authorized to represent or administer that church.
- PrayerWall may merge, rename, restrict, or remove duplicate or misleading church listings.
4. Your content and privacy choices
You keep ownership of content you submit. You give PrayerWall a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, copy, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and to honor the visibility choice associated with the content.
You are responsible for having permission to share information about another person. A “private” setting keeps a prayer off the public internet, but it may still be available to the applicable church prayer team and administrators. Do not submit medical records, government identification numbers, financial account details, passwords, precise locations, or other information that could create a safety risk.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use PrayerWall to harass, threaten, exploit, impersonate, deceive, spam, distribute malware, violate another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights, facilitate illegal conduct, or interfere with the service. You may not scrape prayer content, attempt unauthorized access, evade safety controls, or use prayer information for marketing, fundraising solicitation, employment decisions, insurance decisions, or other unrelated profiling.
6. Church-administrator responsibilities
Church administrators manage membership, roles, invitations, wall visibility, notification settings, and moderation for their church. Administrators must use that access only for legitimate ministry and safety purposes, protect confidential information, remove access when it is no longer appropriate, respond to reports promptly, and follow applicable law and their church’s policies. Churches are responsible for their own conduct and are not agents or employees of PrayerWall.
7. Moderation and enforcement
PrayerWall and authorized church administrators may review, edit for privacy, limit visibility, hold for review, mark as spam, archive, suspend, or remove accounts and content when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms, protect people, respond to reports, or operate the service. Automated safety checks are limited and may produce false positives or miss risky content. We are not required to publish or preserve any submission.
8. Not an emergency or professional service
PrayerWall is a community prayer and communication tool. It is not monitored continuously and is not an emergency service, crisis line, medical provider, counseling service, or substitute for professional care. Do not rely on a prayer post to obtain urgent help.
9. Beta service and availability
PrayerWall is currently a beta service. Features may change, fail, or be unavailable, and data loss is possible. The service is provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, PrayerWall is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
10. Suspension, termination, and changes
You may stop using PrayerWall or delete your account. PrayerWall may restrict or terminate access for violations, safety risks, legal requirements, extended inactivity, or discontinuation of the service. We may update these terms as the beta develops. Continued use after an updated version becomes effective means you accept the updated terms where permitted by law.
